You might have already noticed that the sigir.org site has been renewed. Apart from the new look, the major difference is that we now have a content management system that simplifies the publishing and editorial processes.

But this was only the first step in improving our online presence. The next step is developing content, and this is where we need your help: We are looking for ideas as to what you would like to see on the site. If you have suggestions, please let us know.

One thing that we would really like to have is a stronger social media presence. If someone wants to volunteer (or nominate someone) to serve as our Social Media Officer (or a title of your choosing) we would be very interested. Please contact the SIGIR Executive Committee.
