SIGIR 2023 will take place at Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in Taipei, Taiwan.
TICC is a short walk from a variety of 3- to 5-star hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and Taipei 101, which is a landmark of the beautiful city of Taipei.
From the Airport
Taipei has 2 international airports- Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA). An average journey by taxi from the TPE airport to the conference venue takes approximately 40 minutes and costs US$40 depending on traffic while the TSA airport is only 4.5 kilometers from the city center.
The Taoyuan Airport MRT (purple line) runs every 15 minutes from the TPE airport; the trip to MRT Taipei Main Station by express line is 36 minutes and costs approximately US$5 per ticket.

The Taipei MRT is the mass transit system serving the Taipei Metropolitan Area with currently six major routes. The MRT network covers both Taipei City and New Taipei City.
Access from anywhere in these two cities to the conference venue is possible by MRT. When you arrive at the Taipei Main Station, transfer to MRT red line and get off at the “Taipei 101/World Trade Center” Station. TICC is a short 1-minute walk from the station, via Exit #1.
