Note: Most meals will be provided by the conference at no additional cost to attendees.
Breakfasts, lunches plus two coffee breaks (beverages/snacks) per day will be served for conference attendees (Sun-Thu).
In addition, there will be two receptions (Sun & Mon) and a conference banquet (Tue).

Alternative Accommodation

Activities of the conference will be done on the campus of The University of Texas at Austin (UTA). It will be easier to commute if you find accommodation close to the UTA campus. For transport options, you can find information about moving around Austin on the “Arriving in Austin” page.

Arriving in Austin

 

There are regular direct flights to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) from some international cities and connections from other local cities. AUS is located approximately 15 miles (24 kilometers) from the venue, The University of Texas at Austin campus. You can find information about transport options from the airport here:

Ride Share Apps

You can use ride-hailing apps to move around Austin.

Lyft – You can use the Lyft app for ride-hailing and e-scooters.
Uber – Uber is available to commuters in Austin. You can choose from several options including ride-hailing, e-scooters, and e-bikes.
zTrip – This app can help you plan your trip including booking a transport option that suits your travel needs such as booking a taxi or large-capacity shuttle van.
Fetii – Fetii is an on demand group rideshare and you can use their app to book a ride to travel together as a group.

Things to do in Austin

 

The UT Austin campus has several destinations you can explore while attending the conference. The campus is also a short distance walk away from the Texas State Capitol and the grounds are open up to 8:00 pm.

Austin has several fun activities! The UT Austin campus is a few miles away from downtown Austin. You can dine and listen to live music, follow the walking trails along the banks of the Colorado River, take boat rides (for Sunset cruise and Duck rides reservations are required), and watch bats around sunset at Congress Avenue Bridge. There are also several theaters you can explore while in Austin including the UT Austin performing arts theaters.
