Getting to Salvador

SIGIR'2005 will take place at the Hotel Pestana Bahia, in Salvador. Salvador is located on the coast of Brazil, south latitude 13º00' and length west 38º30', average annual temperature of 26º C.

There are straight flights from Lisbon (daily) and Paris, Milan and Rome via Madrid (3 times a week) to Salvador. There are also multiple flights each day from Brazil's two gateway ports, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Passport
