Women in IR is pleased to announce the hybrid session of WIR to be held during SIGIR 2022. Based on a survey WIR ran last year in our community, we learned an interest for Leadership workshops for our female professionals who wish to potentially take the leadership path at some point. Hence, this year's session includes several speakers from academia and industry with leadership experience to provide their advice and lessons learned on the topic. All SIGIR'22 attendees, regardless of gender identity, are welcome to attend:

SIGIR Women-in-IR (WIR), with the sponsorship of Microsoft Research, is providing registration fund to female students and faculty members for the SIGIR'22 Main Conference. The fund covers part of the registration. As the fund is limited, it is based on first-come-first-serve.
