The 46th ACM SIGIR conference, will be run as a hybrid conference \u2013 in person in Taiwan, with support for remote participation, from July 23rd to 27th, 2023. We welcome contributions related to any aspect of information retrieval and access, including theories, foundations, algorithms, evaluation, analysis, and applications. The conference and program chairs invite researchers to submit original short papers, which will be presented as posters at the conference. Short papers provide an opportunity to describe significant novel work in progress or research that is best communicated in an interactive or graphical format. Compared to full papers, their contribution may be narrower in scope, be applied to a narrower set of application domains, or have weaker empirical support than that expected for a full paper. Suitable LaTeX, Word, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.overleaf.com\/gallery\/tagged\/acm-official\">Overleaf<\/a> templates are available from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/proceedings-template\">ACM Website<\/a> (use \u201csig conf\u201d proceedings template for LaTeX and the Interim Template for Word). Authors are required to take all reasonable steps to preserve the anonymity of their submission. The submission must not include author information and must not include citations or discussion of related work in a way that would make the authorship apparent. While authors can upload to institutional or other preprint repositories such as arXiv.org before reviewing is complete, we generally discourage this since it places anonymity at risk. If the paper is already on arXiv, please change the title and abstract so that it is not immediately obvious they are the same. Do not upload the paper to a preprint site after submission to SIGIR\u2014wait until a review decision to avoid reviewers seeing the paper in daily digests or other places. Breaking anonymity puts the submission at risk of being desk rejected.<\/p>\n<p>Authors should carefully go through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.acm.org\/publications\/policies\/authorship\">ACM\u2019s authorship policy<\/a> before submitting a paper. Please ensure that all authors are clearly identified in EasyChair before the submission deadline. To support the identification of reviewers with conflicts of interest, the full author list must be specified at submission time. No changes to authorship will be permitted for the camera-ready submission under any circumstance or after submissions close. review<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Addition of authors after abstract submission.<\/li>\n<li>Content that has been determined to have been copied from other sources.<\/li>\n<li>Any form of academic fraud or
