SIGIR 2016 Registration Website
Registration to SIGIR 2016 can be done via RegOnline here. July 14, 2016: Due to the unexpectedly high number of registrations we have received so far and to the limited capacity of the banquet venue, no banquet ticket can be guaranteed for delegates who register from now on. If you register and we end up not being able to offer you a banquet ticket, the corresponding amount will be refunded to you after the conference.

“Passport” includes access to the main conference (plus banquet), two half-day tutorials or one full-day tutorial, SIRIP 2016 (industry track), and one workshop. “Conference” includes access to the main conference (plus banquet) and to SIRIP 2016 (industry track). In all other types of registration, banquet is not included.
SIGIR offers student registration rates to SIGIR/ACM members who are not currently engaged in paid professional employment (due to retirement, unemployment, disability, child care, or similar circumstance) and pay from personal funds.
Onsite registration
No cash payment will be accepted when registering on site. Delegates registering on site will be asked to do it via the standard SIGIR 2016 RegOnLine page.
Receipts
The RegOnLine system is set up so that you can print out your receipt/invoice yourself. In the confirmation email that you have received from events [AT] regonline.co.uk after paying your registration fee, click on “Review, change, or update your registration”; click on “Manage Your Registration”; input your access credentials; click on “View, Print, or Email Registration Record and Receipt”; click on “Receipt”; click on “Print Receipt”; and you are done.
Cancellations
Requests for registration cancellation must be made in writing and mailed to sigir2016-gchairs [AT] isti.cnr.it. Requests received before or on June 15 will be eligible for a 75% refund; requests received between June 16 and July 12 will be eligible for a 50% refund; no request received after July 12 will be eligible for any refund. All refunds will be processed after (or well after) the end of the event. At least one author of each accepted paper (of any type) is required to attend the event and present the paper; no request of cancellation will thus be honored unless another co-author is registered for the event.
