SIGIR is pleased to cover the cost of registration for student authors who are also presenting at the conference. This includes full, short, demo, and DC papers. For SIGIR 2021, this also includes resource and perspective papers. Students can apply using this form:
The deadline for free student author registration has passed.
We would like SIGIR to be as inclusive a conference as possible and, in support of this effort, we are offering a registration discount of 75% to those participating from least developed countries as designated by United Nations. The registration system is set up to guide one for this process.
In addition, anyone facing financial hardships or have other obstacles that prevent them from participating in the conference can request a discounted or free registration by filling out a form explaining their circumstances. We are also pleased to offer a limited amount of support for covering familycare expenses to make it easier to attend the conference. These requests will be handled by the SIGIR DEI chairs on case-by-case basis. Submit your applications through the following link:
